Halal Kabab Express - Riyadh

We had their Combination Chelo Kabab— which was a combination of their Beef and Chicken Kabab plus their Persian Rice. Beef Kabab was way too salty. Chicken Kabab was just okay. Both were dry and lacked flavor. The Persian rice tasted like it was a left over from yesterday. The sauce was too liquidy and really didn't taste anything but bland.

Went inside the Youniversity mall and as my boyfriend and I were looking at every food stalls’ menus we came across this place. I was also craving for something new to my taste buds and boooyyy, I like it at my first bite especially when it has dips. The food is good for its price and you’ll be full on your halfway through your plate! Also, this place’s ambience is alright but what attracted me towards this place is their interior design it’s simple but homely. Will definitely go back here again next time! ????

Tried their food for the first time, beef and chicken kebab was so so. The Garlic Yogurt Sauce is so Watery(Malabnaw). The service should be improved as well...

When trying out Halal Kabab for the first time, recommended dishes are Chicken Biryani, Chelo Beef, Beef or Chicken Naan Wrap, Persian Chicken Shawarma, and Kabab Junior Meal. Personally I like their Chicken Biryani (p.249) and Persian Chicken Wrap(p.99). These dishes holds rich Persian flavors in just the right amount of spice. Halal Kabab Express dishes servings are generous and comes in very affordable prices perfect for students on a budget yearning for Persian flavors.
