I've been visiting this place for years, and it's the best Vietnamese restaurant I know of in the area. However, I must say that the food is quite expensive—$36 for two regular plates and two sodas! Despite the prices, I really love it!
I experienced rude customer service at this restaurant. The staff spoke to me in a dismissive manner when presenting the menu and rushed through the ordering process, making it feel like they were eager to move on rather than engage. This behavior suggests a bias against non-Asian customers. It's disappointing that the atmosphere here makes you feel unwelcome, encouraging you to seek out other places that offer friendly service instead of a hurried, impersonal experience. Additionally, it seems the quality of food may vary based on the ethnicity of the patrons. I recommend looking elsewhere, as there are many other Vietnamese restaurants that provide a much better experience.
Wow the Pho was really really good, I had the #11. I highly recommend this place. If ever I'm in town again, I will definitely visit this place again. Good food!!!!Food: 5/5
The pho here is fantastic! Most of the staff are friendly and eager to assist, although some may have difficulty with English, which can create a language barrier. However, this place definitely serves the best pho in the area. My top choices are dishes #16 and #17: the rare steak with shrimp, and the meatball pho, both of which are excellent. Food: 5/5
Among all the family-owned restaurants, this one serves the best pho, which is frustrating because I rarely go to that area. I once ordered a Bún bò Huế and found it completely unappetizing; it was so lacking in flavor! Everything tasted bland—the blood, the feet, even the broth. However, as I mentioned, the pho is quite good (in my opinion).
