Description

Nestled in a charming setting, this restaurant strikes a balance between comfortable ambiance and hearty offerings. Diners rave about the unique pizzas, especially the blazing chicken and pineapple with Canadian bacon. The beer selection, including the tempting creamsicle option, adds to the appeal. While some experiences have been marred by slow service during busy periods or miscommunications, many commend the attentive staff and welcoming owner, who ensures quality control in the kitchen. That said, improvements in communication of hours and events could enhance the overall experience. This spot remains a beloved retreat for relaxing, dining, and socializing post-college.

Omar lacks the ability to offer quality customer service. He declined to serve drinks and should no longer be employed at Getaway Cafe. As for parking, there were plenty of available spots.

This restaurant is the best place to eat, trust me. It's a great spot to relax when you're not in college anymore. The owner is hands-on and serves the food themselves. The food is fantastic. Honestly, the calzone is the best I have ever had, and I've had many!

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant, the pizza is fantastic and they offer a wide selection of vegetarian options.

I came here after a model UN conference and it was awful. granted they were serving a basketball team, but even after that, I had waited a solid hour and a half for my order. my friend got their order quick and got served undercooked potato wedges, not even bothering to eat them. after being just actually lied to (the waiter claimed they called my number and came out 4 times, I was sitting out in the wide open with my party and table number), and gritting my teeth because I was starving, I finally got my food. even if it was directly from the kitchen of god himself I would 've been sour, but it wasn 't. hell, I was served the most mediocre plate of fries, topped with a tiny slag of cheese and pepperoni, and dubbed pizza fries . my other friend got fried mushrooms, and they came out grossly wet and unsettling to chew. not only that, but 21 dollars for this? to say nothing of not even offering free refills, it was an exercise in patience and just an overall completely underperformance. the guy at the register was nice though!
