Was Anonym at The Whelk a mag?
The raw bar, entrees, drinks, and service were all excellent. We sat at the bar and would definitely return. The only downside was that the noise level from the crowd was a bit high. View all feedback.

Menu not appealing, price point very high, small print on menu about adding tip of 20% and charging (because wait staff has suffered from the pandemic-with the prices of food and beverages at this place, pay staff more) $1 per slice of bread . Entrée portions small. View all feedback.
Totally awesome experience from soup to nuts. The Whelk never disappoints. The seafood is always fresh. The combination of flavors Divine.. by all means make a reservation because it's always packed
Good service. Well priced food considering the area. Went on a weekend for lunch and there was barely anyone there. The burratta with pistachios and olives was particularly good. We also ate the crab toast which was good but nothing out of this world. We got a nice portion of fries to share as well. Overall really satisfying experience but not over the top or spectacular .
Pricey, but very tasty food. Table water is filtered, not just tap. That is always a good sign.
Amazing staff! Nice by the water restaurant, nice ambiance burrata is amazing mushroom and yolk is amazing fish stew is good cavatelli are good fluka sashimi is great potatoes are amazing Have the westport oysters they are amazing and so soworth it
The Whelk is hands down my favorite restaurant in the area. I cannot say enough good things about the trout dip, the hamburger with fries is unmatched and they always have great special menu items the kabocha squash dessert was incredible. Excellentcocktails perfect ambiance. Continues to be our go to restaurant for special dinners.
