Da Luciano - River Grove

Da Luciano's is possibly the best place for gluten-free pasta that I have ever been to! This charming Italian restaurant offers a wide variety of gluten-free options that are absolutely delicious. It has a great old school vibe and the food is amazing. It has been 5 years since my last review, but I have continued to frequent Da Luciano's and every time I go, I love it even more. I have even used their catering services for two parties and everyone raved about the food. I keep forgetting to save the pizza coupons for a free pizza, as the food is just so good that I end up rushing through my meal and burning the roof of my mouth. I currently have 13 coupons, so I am very close to getting a free pizza. And don't forget to try the veggie pizza - it is fantastic!

Our daughter, who lives in Chicago, discovered this restaurant through a gluten-free restaurant finder app, and we are grateful that she did! Whenever we visit Chicago, we make sure to eat here because the food and service are exceptional. We would continue to dine here solely for that reason, but the fact that they offer an extensive gluten-free menu and are highly conscientious about preventing cross-contamination is incredibly reassuring for all of us, particularly for our daughter. It is truly invaluable!

This place is fantastic, especially if you?re gluten free! The portions are great, the food tastes incredible, and the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. We?ve had Linda as our server twice now, and she is the absolute best, so sweet andattentive. Highly recommend trying this place out!

Da Luciano's always exceeds expectations. Their food is fantastic and they offer a complete gluten-free menu. The marinara sauce is packed with flavor and the gluten-free pasta was cooked to perfection. My whole family adores this restaurant - it truly is something special.

I ordered a family night pizza with calamari and fries tonight, excited upon delivery I open the calamari and fries with utter disappointment. Extremely undercooked and fries soggy and greasy. I called back to get a replacement and they said no problem,the replacement took about an hour which at that point nobody was hungry. Not to mention the above pictures shown the calamariwas what I believe to be overcooked to the point of not being edible, fries still greasy and soggy. I feel the cook took mycomplaint personally and I'm afraid what else they might have done to the food now. I will not be ordering from here again. ????
