First time I have been here but will be back again. Thought it was a small place but actually it is a lot bigger than it seems, a bit TARDIS like. I had the saagwala with mushroom pilau. Brilliant, a huge amount of spinach, big chunks of lamb and chicken. The chicken jalfrazi that my partner had was just as nice. Both had succulent pieces of meat.
A brilliant restaurant for an evening meal or takeaway, families are welcome as are groups. The food is freshly made and piping hot. Very generous portions.
I went to this restaurant with a friend and had a fantastic meal. I may have gone a bit overboard by ordering a starter, but it was really delicious! Service was great. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around £20–30.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience! For dinner, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, earning another 5 stars. The atmosphere of the restaurant also deserves a perfect score of 5, making it an all-around exceptional place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend!
For curries, I highly recommend the Bahar-e-Murg, which features chicken in a minced lamb-based sauce. Most of their curries and starters are delicious. As for bread, the Garlic Coriander Naan is a must-try, and the Garlic Coriander Pulao is the best rice option available. The staff members are attentive, courteous, and always ready to offer great suggestions. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and many of the curries, including the Tadka Dal (lentils), are quite good. Kid-friendliness is another highlight, as children enjoy dining here and there are ample choices on the kid-friendly part of the menu. Additionally, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with no steps to navigate.
