Samrat being the oldest restaurant in Serampore holds one of the top place. We went there 2 days ago and the experience was quite great. Although, for a special occasion Jamai Sosthi) their menu was limited and we couldn't get what we wanted. Nevertheless, the food they served specially the mutton biriyani and prawn dish was quite tasteful. We liked the atmosphere too and it was quite crowded that day. Moreover, the staffs were also welcoming so no complaints on that too. Overall hygiene was also maintained well. Also I find this restaurant to be one of the most affordable ones in Serampore. So, if you are coming with your friends and families to have some quality time with some great food this place is a recommended one for sure. Happy dining!

And price is expensive as the food quality. I tried Fish Fry . Taste is good. But not as the price of Rs.160+ GST. Size is small. Next we try Deep Blue Sea mocktail. It's too hard. I took extra suger surup. We also try Virgin Mojito. It's quality is good. Washroom available, clean. Resturant hospitality is good. Overall it is a normal resturant with a high price.
