So good tasted heaven to me The dessert was as well homemade, my Citrics and turrón ice with ratafia licor was very well found!! Wine mixed with muscat raisins also good and further to the good taste decoration if this modernist building , the service and attention to the customer were lovely and the best For sure will come back and recommend it. Inside has a variety of small dining rooms and looks quite stylish. Had a very nice, large entrecote albeit a tad undercooked for British tastes on first presentation. Friendly srrvice. Moderate value.

Potatoes everywhere and too small quantities. They charge 2.50 for simple white bread with tomatoe! In catalunya! In general: unsatisfactory.

I have been din... read more Ripoll generally known as the Cradle of Catalonia has been gaining reputation as a bastion of food innovation. And I don´t doubt that for a bit. I have been dinning in some of Ripolles restaurants for many years now, and I must say it´s been quite an experience. And for those of you ¨restaurant goers¨ searching for aculinary experience like no other, look no further than CANAULES. CANAULES is right there at Placa Gran next to the Main Square. Chances are that visitors may end up spending more time at the terrace outdoor seating to view the arcades as well as the historical architectural masterpiece dotting the neighborhood. However, one of the first signs visitors will notice going into Canaules is the design touches...awesome ambiance, dinning lights, crystal chandeliers and the woodwork. As you you make your way into other dinning sections, you also see the sparkiling well-equipped kitchen. The decor allows the simplistic beauty of the food to really shine. The restaurant is always buzzed with excited energy and is comfortably filled up with seemingly satisfying patrons. I´ll advice you call to make a prior reservation. Clientele satisfaction is absolutely excellent. I have actually had series of family dinners and lunch with my colleagues there. In leveraging my personal experience with the variety of dishes, quality, portion, size and presentation, I will rate it 100%. Referring to the temperament of the place, staff,waiters and servers are pleasant and always ready to help, dressed neatly, seemed focus. For the art lovers, you won´t find it boring, CANAULES host regular in-house art exhibitions to keep the experience fresh and exciting (It showed the impact the restaurant have on a local community and the close connection between art and food). Though I would love to be selfish and keep CANAULES all to myself, the work of the restaurant chef, waitress, staff and the owners is too good to stay hidden for long. There´s no doubt CANAULES is the most innovative restaurant in Ripolles and will quickly become the hottest in town.
