This family runned restaurant serves good food in a nice location, almost on the top of the hill of Riparbella, a perfect place to escape from the hot beaches of Cecina : The menu is available on the wallboard and includes a good selection of starters, pasta and main dishes and most of them are meat based. They also have a good choice of pizza, well dressed and at an average price. The tiny toilet is clean but likely too small for a wheelchair. As the indoor area is not very large, I suggest to book a table in advance, especially if you're going there in peak season and/or during the weekends. Enjoy!
The olive trees are great. The restaurant's terrace is now very old and unfortunately neglected in terms of maintenance. The menu cards were dirty ie the QR code to scan). Unfortunately, the prices are now overpriced. house wine ok Beer 6 euros : side dishes 5 euros each and only a few on the plate. French fries maybe 10 pieces, but the taste wasn't good. It's better not to use grilled vegetables. Grilled aubergine tasteless and like rubber. @Chef: better in oil beforehand soak with salt and then grill. Then it becomes edible) The price of the pizza was ok, but where was the topping on the pizza? There was only dough. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied and will not be back. Unfortunately, the previous reviews on Tripadvisor were correct There are a few restaurants in the area that offer great food for the same price.
Excellent crostini, the cheek with the mashed potatoes is top! Informal and young environment Fair price for the quality of the product Highly recommended!
We just came back from this restaurant. We are a family of 3 with a 6-year old child. We were happy because the nice waitress gave us a table with room for four persons in front of the playground. Our son could play around while we could watch him from the table. While my husband and son were at the playground, I was waiting for the waitress so that I could order. Instead the waitress that I assume owns the place (because she was pushing her waiters around) could not speak a word of English, wanted to know if we had reservations. We did not but tried to tell her that we were given the table by the waitress. There was no reservation sign on the table. She wanted us to move to a table in the back so that other customers which seemed to be a friend of her could get our table. They were two, no kids. When my husband asked why we were removed she said because our new table was bigger and more suitable for us. It was a table for six and in the back and far from the playground. We noticed that she talked to her friends for about 10 minutes before we were removed. Obviously, her friends were more important. She was arrogant and tried to convince us that our new table was better. If we did not have our son with us we would have left the restaurant. The pizza filling was ok. The rest of the pizza was not. The other waitresses were nice. We will not come back As a customer I do not want to be removed unless there is a very good reason. Friends are not a good reason.
