Very average food quality an... read more We chose this place on route to Cangas de Onis and found it only served a menu del dia at lunchtime with 3 options for each course. Very average food quality and not particularly tasty. The owner was initially theatrical and grumpy and insisted we ate inside only. We would not return if passing through Riano again.

As far as I know, they serve fixed menus, so in case you rather like eating a la carte , you´d better ask first. Location is nice, although the place is not by the lake exactly, it might be no more than fifty metres from it, so you can get here terrific open views on the lake and the steep mountains around it. Their clientele are mainly locals. Medium prices. Clean facilities. Friendly staff.

Thorough... read more We dined here last night and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Everything we tried had very good flavours.. Some we couldn't even identify. Thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes and the service was so lovely.. Our waitress was so helpful and brought over several choices of drinks to be sure we got the one we liked. The soup was particularly amazing.. With bread, broth, ham and a fried egg. The menu is fresh that day and most of the desserts are homemade. So lucky we drove in from Boca de Huérgano to eat here!

Staff were great welcoming, fri... read more Stopped here while doing a motorcycle circuit of the Picos. Stumbled on it by accident looking for somewhere and so glad we did! Staff were great welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was brilliant, next to the lake in Riaño. Menu del dia great value for money would definitely recommend stopping for something to eat here.
