While... read more On one of the last beautiful summer evenings we met in the city cat. Outside you can sit in front of the old house and enjoy the atmosphere of the market. While all other places were fully visited, it was empty in the city cat. We chose a table lying on the wall that quickly became a robbery of my acquaintance when he sat on the roof cupboard and was struck after a short time. You could better place the seats here. The services were very nice and friendly and also fast. We all ordered something to eat, but what the descriptions of the associations in me were not actually fulfilled. The chicken biscuit was still very delicious. With a friend of mine, the flame cake did not look like it was presented, but rather pale and inconspicuous. The chicken also proved to be cut and not as fried chicken strips as we thought. My acquaintance had pork fillet and that was very tasty and also looked great. Overall, however, I did not justify the price-performance ratio. Nevertheless, a nice location and nice staff, as well as for most part delicious food.

Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude, das wahrscheinlich in den letzten Jahren renoviert wurde. Ein Teil ist ebenerdig, zum Kellergewölbe geht es ein paar Treppen hinunter. Leider ging der Charme des alten Gebäudes ein wenig durch die moderne Einrichtung und der hellen Beleuchtung des Kellergewölbes verloren - jedem wie's ihm gefällt. Die mit dem TripAdvisor etwas schwierig zu lesende Speisekarte (technische Probleme) hatte jedoch schon mit ihren Angeboten auf diesen Stil hingewiesen.Zu zweit hatten wir uns zunächst als Vorspeise einen Elsässer Flammkuchen geteilt. Der war recht gut, jedoch waren die Zwiebeln für meine Begleitung etwas zu bissfest (nicht ganz durch). Da wir keinen großen Hunger hatten, wählten wir beide als Hauptspeise eine Folienkartoffel mit Hühnerspießen. Die Sour Creme war mal etwas anderes als üblich. Aber, auch wenn das Hähnchenfleisch lecker gewürzt (mariniert?) war, war das Fleisch einfach zu trocken, als wenn es noch einmal aufgebraten oder einfach totgebraten wurde.Wie schon gesagt, besonders hungrig waren wir eh nicht, weshalb auch fast Die Hälfte übrig blieb (es waren keine Riesenportionen), das Fleisch machte nicht Lust auf mehr. Bei der Bestellung des abschließenden Cappuccinos habe ich der Servierkraft den Zustand des Fleischs mitgeteilt, was sie an die Küche weitergeben wollte. Eine Rückmeldung, zum Beispiel in Form einer Entschuldigung, gab es nicht. Ansonsten war das Personal sehr freundlich.Der Stadtkater machte auf mich eher den Eindruck einer besseren Snackbar als den eines Restaurants. Nicht nur deshalb: durchnittlich.
