I really appreciate that they have a separate menu. We had a wonderful evening sitting outside on a pleasant night. We ordered through our phones and enjoyed all the dishes that were brought to us. The mushroom taco was definitely the highlight for me, but the corn was also delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Paco's Tacos:
The price for a bowl of chips is quite steep at $13. I expected something special, perhaps chips with a luxurious twist, so my friend was definitely disappointed to receive a basic bowl of chips for that price. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food at this place. My burrito was lackluster—just okay, but flavorless. The taco was also decent, but tiny for what you pay. In summary, the prices are far too high for th... View all feedback.
Great to have a separate vegan menu. Name: The chips on the vegan menu are cooked with the same friyer as anything else (for those who care about it as me). My friend ordered them (before we knew about the same Friyer business) and they should come with Jalapeños, but came with nothing but a side sauce. The cost of their bowl of chips is annoying at $13! I thought it would be a bit of a “special chip packed in gold sheet” so my friend was quite disappointed to get a simple bowl of chips at this price. Can't say I'm prayed by food here at all. My burrito was okay, more tasteless, but okay. The Taco was also ok, but teeny for the price. Things are far too expensive for their value.
#4 Jan 2020: Nachos and Mushroom enchilada. The take away nachos now unfortunately come sans salsa guac, with the salsa guac traveling in multiple plastic containers wrapped in cling wrap. Put the salsa guac on the nachos next time Paco you dillberry. #3 Jan 2020: Black bean burrito and Mushroom enchilada. Both very good (even an hour and a half after taking away), I especially enjoyed the enchilada, spicy little [censored] though. Happy to be asked if I wanted take away cutlery, because I enjoy saying no. Fresh ingredients vibrant flavours in both the Burrito Nachos, both of similar size price to other Mexican eateries. The chips churros that are listed on the vegan menu are cooked in a deep fryer that also cooks body parts. Paco's Tacos have been contacted about this, hopefully this is something that they will change. Updated from previous review on 2018-02-03
I met a friend here for lunch after a bit of a break from this place. I ordered my regular vegan nachos minus jalapeños plus black bean, and for a treat there was also mushroom that day. They were great, fresh-tasting nachos as usual. My friend ordered the charred corn, which had been foul the last time I’d had it but was actually not bad this time. I have noticed they’ve changed the menu very slightly and removed the kohlrabi salad I came in wanting a little while ago. Staff were friendly as always.
On my most recent visit I had the enchilada and it was surprising large and very tasty. At under $15, it's good value and a filling meal. .......... The burrito is better than most; good to see the inclusion of rice in the filling. The nachos are a fresher, less stodgy version most would be accustomed to and quite enjoyable but may be better as a shared starter. Will return at some point to try the enchilada. *Date: January 4, 2020* I ordered nachos and a mushroom enchilada for takeout. Unfortunately, the nachos came without salsa and guacamole, which were packed in separate plastic containers wrapped in cling film. Next time, Paco, please put the salsa and guacamole directly on the nachos! *Date: January 3, 2020* I tried the black bean burrito and mushroom enchilada, and both were quite good, even after being away for an hour and a half. I particularly enjoyed the enchilada, though it was a bit spicier than expected! I appreciated being asked if I wanted takeout cutlery because I always enjoy saying no. The fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors in both the burrito and nachos were impressive, and their prices are comparable to other Mexican restaurants. One concern: the churros listed on the vegan menu are fried in the same deep fryer that handles meat. I’ve reached out to Paco's Tacos about this, and I hope they will address it.
