Happy Valley Restaurant - Rimbey

I read the other review and I'm surprised. They are always consistent and the staff are friendly. Give them a chance next time you're in Rimbey.

Ginger beef was odd tasting and very fatty. Overall, all the food was lacking flavor and freshness. Bland taste and soggy texture. Dirty restaurant as well, grime all along the windows that looked to be dead flies and mildew. Waitress seemed stoned or something, very strange person. As it was the only Chinese place in Rimbey, we thought we'd give it a try. I would never go back and would not recommend it to anyone.

Dropped in for lunch, lady was cleaning buffet bins, not sure why she did not even say hello I will be with you in a minute. I waited approx 5 minutes & decided to move on. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

It is very plain. They have a big menu and also serve a buffet. It wasn't the best Chinese food that I have had, but it wasn't bad. Service was a little slow, but then we were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy.

It is ok restaurant. thought small town would have nice clean and friendly staff and waiters, but not so. will try next time
