An exceptional combination of gourmet food, excellent service and charming ambience, White House is a Riga gem. Each dish was a masterpiece of taste and presentation. The service was attentive, but not overlaid. My steak was a bit over cooked and the waiter told me before and gave it to me and allowed me to order a new dish. Bland food with I’ll fitting pairing of flavours. Amazing presentation though. The ostrich tartare was too mild (the best part of the dish was the pulled beef wonton), the fish ceviche lacked acidity and balanced flavour (extremely bland). An extraordinary combination of gourmet food, excellent service and charming ambience, White House is a Riga gem. Every dish was a masterpiece of taste and presentation. The service was attentive but not overbearing. My steak was slightly over cooked and the waiter notified me beforehand and gave it to me free and allowed me to order a new dish. The overcooked steak was still delightful and the lamb chops were delicious. Compliments to David their professional barman who not only gives a great mixing show but makes a high flying aviation cocktail too. The live piano music is a bonus. Definitely a restaurant to visit and return to again.
Great experience with amazing service and truly quality foods wines. I really recommed their eggnog on christmas. It was among the best I’ve had
Food is nothing short of amazing, served by incredible polite, professional and knowledgeable staff. The sommelier was noticeably enjoying her work, having expertly paired a selection of champagnes with the dishes served, yet still flexible and knowledgeable enough to make excellent suggestions to alternatives. Staff generally seemed enthusiastic and were well-spoken.
This is far above any Michelin restaurant I ever visited. We are really excited and recommend all to wisit this pearl in Riga
Had a lovely lunch on a snowy afternoon. Fois gras, roasted cauliflower followed by sturgeon. Food excellent I would call it modern Latvian with a French twist. Highly recommend it for both service and food. There was also an excellent amuse bouche, interlude and pallet cleanser.
