Updated on 29-07-2020: It seems like the restaurant has lost their chef during the Covid-19 lockdown, and the quality of the food has suffered.
Original review: We had breakfast at this restaurant and it was truly one of the best experiences. Both the vegan omelet and the vegan avocado toast were delicious, so I would definitely recommend it. View all feedback.
That was our first station in riga. came to breakfast here. this is a tiny and cozy place in a cellar. the menu is not in English, but the waiter was friendly and translated everything. we had the vegan avocado toast and vegan omelett. both were very good. the banan bread we had after that was a bit dry. but in everything, a beautiful surprise! defines a Go-to-Platz to breakfast or lunch!
Stars Coffee is a small coffee shop in a basement of Riga (look for the small sign over stairs) but it worth the try. The food is terrific and not very expensive. That day, everything was vegan and the meat options were not available (is it a good presage I took the vegan omelette and the avocado toast: both were generous and amazingly tasty with fresh ingredients. I would come back as soon as I can! The coffee was excellent too. Go there absolutely! It is really perfect for breakfast.
The basement Café is a bit nondescript located underneath a laundry shop. It is nicely decorated in minimalism style. The avocado bread breakfast and vegan omelette were just as delicious as the coffee served. Free water available. The staff was nice by helping with the latvian menu. Prices were fair.
We wouldn't have found this great place without happy cow'. It's hidden in the basement of a building, you will enter it through stairs below a small sign saying Stars and it's worth it! The chickpea omelette is delicious, so is the latte with oat milk. They also offer free tab water on each table. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
Wonderful place with several vegan options and THE BEST vegan snicker in Riga it is huge and literally melts in your mouth! I've also tried the avocado toast and vegan omelet both were really great. Updated from previous review on 2019-05-17
