A little bit hidden in the Rātslaukums, next to the Black Heads guild, I found great food and service at a reasonable price. I sat on a table outside on a not very crowded day, probably one of the first to be there at noon. I got a table really quick, the staff was welcoming and got the menu as soon as I got my table. Really bad experience, we arrived with my family at 21 oclock. And they rushed us out 10min before closing time ,reason for that was the ”cashier had to be closed” And the waitress with black glasses was making rude sounds and was making fun of us in their language Plates were also taken way too fast from, each one us had bearly taken the last bite from the plate when the waitress came and took plates. Nice atmosphere sitting out on the patio area. Was not busy so service was pretty prompt, might be slower when busy. Huge plate of pork ribs nicely cooked.

Location is really nice, however it is one of those super touristy restaurants, so if you are looking for some true local Riga food experience, there are better places out there. Plus service here is pretty slow and a bit annoying. Though I must say desserts here are really good. Try the rye bread cake, it's a must in Riga!

Great location, good food and nice personal. Not just a tourist trap, but an actually good restaurant.
