A super hot day and last minute dinner invite meant I wasn’t hungry enough for some proper food so I just ordered a naughty little cheesecake as some things are just too good to say no to! And later on a but of halloumi cheese! All I’ve tried was delivered but more importantly, the atmosphere and the service in particular deserves a very high praise indeed. A place worth visiting again I believe to have proper dinner but I do not think for a second that my review would have a different tone or rating! Keep it up!

We ordered from the more affordable selection: Ogle burger with tiny potatoes and bbq sauce, goat cheese beetroot salad and pizza Margherita. Burger was ok but the meat in it wasn't great. However, the salad was great! The pizza was ok but nothing exceptional. Dessert: Not the best Crème Brûlé but it was beautifully presented. Service: Very polite, good English! The wait time for food was tolerable. A bit on the slow side after our orders were delivered (we had to wait about 20 minutes for an opportunity to ask for the check), but nothing too bad. Atmosphere: Indoors, the restaurant is very nicely decorated. The music was a bit loud for conversation but it was melodic electronic music, and not at intrusive level. Negative: Water is ridiculously priced: we ordered one 0.7l bottle for 5€. Our server said they didn't have any big ones and offered three smalls instead. We said okay but ended up being charged 3x small bottle which was over 10€.

The steak w... read more Enjoyed a much needed relaxed meal in Ogle after a long day exploring Riga. The comfortable sofa seating inside called us in and did not disappoint. The steak was grilled to a joy and a very generous portion of roast potatoes. Also had a delicious cocktail made with berry black balsam which was very unique. Service was friendly and attentive.

The delicious pork ribs and chicken skewer were simply delicious and the portions were generous. While I thoroughly enjoyed the main dishes, I must admit I was a bit surprised by the additional fresh vegetable order. I was expecting a more diverse selection, but unfortunately, I only received some paprika and cucumbers. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was good, and I would recommend to visit this restaurant.

The food is freshly prepared and the pizza's are very good. If you sit at the bar you can see the chiefs preparing your food. The atmosphere changes depending on which day you visit. The cocktails and lemonades are devine. The staff are friendly and polite. You may need to add side orders as some of the mains don't come with the usual accompaniments. You may need to book a reservation on busy days like most places in Riga.
