We ordered from the more affordable selection: Ogle burger with tiny potatoes and bbq... read more We had early dinner on Sunday. Food: Food was a bit on the expensive side. We ordered from the more affordable selection: Ogle burger with tiny potatoes and bbq sauce, goat cheese beetroot salad and pizza Margherita. Burger was ok but the meat in it wasn't great. However, the salad was great! The pizza was ok but nothing exceptional. Dessert: Not the best Crème Brûlé but it was beautifully presented. Service: Very polite, good English! The wait time for food was tolerable. A bit on the slow side after our orders were delivered (we had to wait about 20 minutes for an opportunity to ask for the check), but nothing too bad. Atmosphere: Indoors, the restaurant is very nicely decorated. The music was a bit loud for conversation but it was melodic electronic music, and not at intrusive level. Negative: Water is ridiculously priced: we ordered one 0.7l bottle for 5€. Our server said they didn't have any big ones and offered three smalls instead. We said okay but ended up being charged 3x small bottle which was over 10€.

The food is freshly prepared and the pizza's are very good. If you sit at the bar you can see the chiefs preparing your food. The atmosphere changes depending on which day you visit. The cocktails and lemonades are devine. The staff are friendly and polite. You may need to add side orders as some of the mains don't come with the usual accompaniments. You may need to book a reservation on busy days like most places in Riga.
