There is not much soup in the zuppa di pesce but a lot of good fish and seafood. If you ate in Puglia you'd know what I'm talking about: a large platter full of fish, prawns, clams and mussels cooked in spicy tomato sauce and served on the bed of toasted bread slices. And if Baccus still has the dry Zibbibo to offer, please try it with the zuppa di pesce. It is one of the best food-wine combinations I had had. The zuppa di pesce needs to ordered in advance, you need to call 2-3 days before, to make sure the papa brings the right type of fish from the market. If you don't have the time, go to Baccus for a fish. You can specify how you want it cooked. Be aware: the fish is not on the menu. The type and method of cooking needs to be discussed with the waitress.
