This n and e ofterestaurant advanced to my probably favorite in the ewhile region-in respect to price — qualityrelationship : the fiod is in the upper end of what you can expect from a one Michelin star restaurant. The price in the lower. Moreover the cuisine is extremely original and pleasung. Its a kind of fusion with japanese remicenses. Its originality stands certainly out among 1 star restaurants. In all our vsits my friend and i were highly satisfied by every dish we got. Moreover, the menu changes al the time and you are always in for a pleasant surprise. Service is polite and efficient. The interior pleasant. I shall certainly return here often and can inly recommend this restaurant most warmly.
Located in a nice house in s suburb of mulhouse. The interior is very nice snd comfortable. The choice of plates is satisfactory. The wuality of the cooking very high. I would rank it at the upper end of one star michrlin restaurants. However the price is definitely at the lower end. This the price quality relationship is extremely favorable. I am living in this region and i am sure i shall often return herr.
You can't go wrong with having dinner in this restaurant. Unfortunately the menu is limited but that's usual for a gourmet restaurant. Nice layout, staff and tasty food!
I booked a table for dinner, to celebrate my significant one birthday. Despite announcing we would be half an hour late, we were told not to worry; as a matter of fact, when we arrived Mme Kieny came to our table to make sure we didn 't have issues during the trip. If this was the nice introduction, what followed was no less nice: personnel very discrete, competent, willing to stop to discuss about courses and wines I spoke in English, and the personnel did not show any sign of being annoyed about me not speaking French, as sometimes happens in France. Add to this the very cozy and stylish environment (hanging on the wall next to our table there was an Arman accumulation) and tables which had the right distance one to each other to preserve privacy. Last but not the least, the cuisine: I took the 4 courses tasting menu, my gf opted for courses from the menu a la carte; the dishes were prepared with panache without being flamboyant,or trying to impress, the wines were spot on (I took the wine flight, my gf asked the sommelier for advice). The icing on the cake (pun intended) was adding a Joyeux anniversaire ! on a chocolate strip to my gf Baba au whisky Alsacien, and bringing us glasses of Taittinger rosèe to celebrate the birthday; this was a surprise,as it was not requested; noblesse oblige, we weren 't charged for that. As further proof of the sober but solid class of this place, they refused to charge us for a caffè ristretto which was just a bit too long, but otherwise creamy and rich in flavour and taste. Finally, despite us being the last guests at the table late in the evening, the sommelier found the time to write down the details of the wine producer of an excellent Pinot Gris I had with the starter. The bottom line: a very pleasant evening, in a place we we will get back for sure. The bill was not cheap, but perfectly in line with the (well deserved) Michelin star. I suggest the place for a pleasant and relaxing evening with your beloved ones.
We were four friends Took a 79 EUR menu One of us is a vegetarian so they adapted easily and provided fish instead of duck in one of the courses Glass of wine with every dish Multiple dishes executed to perfection Great service Had a blast!!! It was my first Michelin experience and it opened up my appetite for more
