I and my husband came a little late to Philadelphia to explore where I have dinner. We chose Stingers because it was near our hotel and we thought the shores were great. We came between 8 and 9 and said that only the bar area was open, so we sat at the bar. The menu was limited to seven elements, usually appetizers. We ordered drinks and two appetizers. Everything was good. I gave four stars instead of three because we had a fantastic bartender. We might like it better if we had arrived early enough to enjoy the complete menu and when the outdoor terrace was opened.
A beautiful place to escape. Our server, Fran, was excellent and gave 5 star service. The Pina colada was delicious and refreshing. The Stingerfries were the highlight of my meal. I felt like on the shore, but without land traffic. On my second trip the Mahi was overcooked, but the spaghetti with crabs and shrimp was excellent.
Food is always exceptionally good. Perfect for a date night or together with friends and family. The view of the water is beautiful. Service is always great.
Eating was good, had some great flavors. Service was very friendly and fast, even if busy. Oysters were fresh and big, def recommended to get them. I have the paella I didn't love, something too salty for me. But the tuna is delish and the spiked fries were bombs.
I was visiting Philadelphia,Pa and found Stingers Waterfront through Yelp. At the location I found the Restaurant to be exquisite. I ordered the Halibut and my Wife ordered the Salmon which was EXCEPTIONAL. We also had Philly Cheese steak egg rolls and the mussels with red sauce as an appetizer. Both were very good. Steve who was our waiter with the tattoos was very professional courteous and knowledgeable. If you're ever in the area you must go to Stinger's Waterfront.
