Cutest Pastry Shop/Bakery. Truly, I feel like I'm going to a bakery in Paris. Delicious crepes, coffee and croissants. Recommend the raspberry macarons. Tip: Try to go out hours can be overcrowded! View all feedback.
What Alexeis B doesn't like about Sook Pastry:
Employees here are rude, they treat people different. They like to argue with the customers. If you are looking for a wow experience this is not the place. The owner was nice and apologetic. The sad part is that the employees didn't care that we requested to speak to the manager. Bad experience, bad service. View all feedback.
I love this place it’s casual town bakery. The desserts are delicious.
I definitely recommend here for the savory crepes and desserts that are not readily available at other sweets places if you’re in the mood for it! Sook also cooks the crepes in front of you—and I love how she genuinely smiles with happiness as she hands you her creation! Only today did I see her without a mask on and the genuineness really shows! Although I do suggest to go during weekdays—not Friday— cus the crowd can get overwhelming!
This area of Ridgewood has so many good things including this place. They have many great cakes, and pastries to choose from, for example the Ridgewood or the Oak. My parents love the Danishes from here, and also the croissants. I personally like them to as well as the napoleon, the eclairs, and the macrons. This place also has angel food cake, and crepes although I never tried the crepes here, I heard they are very good. Although what I love to get here is the bubble tea. It is better than most places, and I HIGHLY suggest you get it. Personally, I like strawberry bubble tea.
This great place to have a piece of cake and coffee in the evening. The place is overcrowded what you should expect, its pastry is excellent, but they have space both inside and outside. Try her bread. You have an excellent selection of bread. There are three or four types of baggetts, cheese rolls and wheat bread.
It was a decent place. Pros: The almond croissant and the Ridgewood cake A melange chocolate mousse, vanilla cream brûlée and chocolate sponge cake) were delicious! Negative: I was disappointed that the baguette was super hard! I think it would have taken out one of my teeth. Maybe they cooked it? And the $2 truffles not depicted) was not only expensive, but disgusting in taste. The flavors were not refined. Another thing that the owner can improve is to add the ingredient sign to any cake, so I don't have to ask the employees what is in each and every one of them.
