Description

Beloved for excellent coffee, standout cold brew, and fresh bagel sandwiches and pastries, this neighborhood café is a reliable spot for takeout or a casual sit-down. Diners praise the food but report inconsistent, sometimes curt service, an early-closing kitchen despite later posted hours, and increasingly loud, party-style music that can make the space less relaxing and family-unfriendly. If you value quality drinks and quick bites over quiet, predictable service, it’s worth a visit.

Nice hip coffee spot. Staff is pretty open and attentive. Great selection of sandwiches and entrees as well as pastries.

Love this cafe! This staff are so personable and quick, really sweet and great coffee. Best dirty chai I've found since Little Skips closed (RIP)

Came early in the day, was the only customer when I entered. ordered a flat white and bagel with cream cheese. There were two servers and the man let the woman do it (which felt as a practice) and she screwed up and had to remake them. Proportion was still off and taste watery. I wished it was better because my friends spoke so highly of this place. Since I am paying full price, please do not use my order as a time to practice. I gave it a three because the pastry was good and they are not as bad for service (its NYC, I see)

Not sure why they’re open until 5pm if their kitchen closes by 1pm. Front desk girl was a bit rude since we misunderstood her that the kitchen was closed. Don’t recommend this place to anyone. You’re better off going to TOPOs to grab a coffee and a scone.

The vibe of this place has really changed. Super loud thumping music with lots of f-bombs, to the point one employee kept changing tracks when people with kids came in. This happened on two recent weekend visits. I don’t think they want people chilling there anymore. I used to spend an afternoon getting multiple drinks, reading, meeting friends. now I get one to-go if I visit at all. Just doesn’t feel relaxing. Coffee itself is still good.
