It had an overwhelming amount... read more I've always enjoyed the Windmill Platter and Wels Stew. However, during my recent order, the catfish stew was quite disappointing. It had an overwhelming amount of spices. In the South, many prefer more mild stews where the flavors of the tomatoes, potatoes, and fish shine through without being masked by too many spices.

The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. I would highly recommend this place to everyone visiting the area.

Live music every other Thursday, the windmill makes a real meeting place right in front of Ridgeway and south of Lake Watere! An attentive waiter completes a great experience on this local landmark! I love it!
