My partner ordered the ribs, green beans, and onion rings; my daughter had the BLT on jalapeño bread; my son chose one of the burgers, and I went with the veggie plate that included coleslaw, collard greens, black-eyed peas, and fried okra served with cornbread. The only downsides were that the fries were cold and tasteless, the coleslaw was a bit disappointing, and the cornbread was served cold, though that might be their usual way of serving it. However, my daughter’s BLT was really good! I did wish that my greens and black-eyed peas were served in a bowl for better soaking with my cornbread. Overall, we would definitely return if we are in the area again, though I think it should be classified as a two-dollar sign restaurant since it wasn't exactly cheap.

This restaurant offers an excellent variety of burgers and salads, in addition to blue plate specials. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. I really enjoy the meatloaf, and the peppercorn chicken is fantastic. My favorite side dishes are the sweet potato fries and the creamy corn.
