Amerigo Italian - Ridgeland

My family visit this particular restaurant quite often. We always have a great time here. The service, food, and atmosphere is always great. And if on the off chance things aren't perfect, they always take care of us.

It's the original Italian for me. I've been eating here for over 30 years and it's still one of my favorites.

Server just not attentive at all. Asked for certain things, didnt get them, even while watching the server actively taking these things past my table to other tables. Was then asked if she had a blonde moment and forgot still then forgot again. Refilled one person 's drink 4 times at the table while mine was empty, finally had to ask for that to be done. Then the other person got sweet tea instead of half and half. When we told her, she said no that was half and half. Not I apologize I will bring you another or offer to take it just nope you the person who is complaining are wrong I gave you the right stuff. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Just this particular server needs some retraining.

The food here is great. I love the cedar plank porkchop. It's my favorite. And the crab cakes are delicious.

This was my 1st time visiting and I enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks and food. Our waitress was very bubbly and made great suggestions for 1st timers. I will mist definitely dine here again.
