I had a Mark Twain cocktail, which was so good that I ended up having two! My wife and I shared the Brussels sprouts, which were delicious. She ordered the chicken under a brick, and I had a taste of it—it was fantastic. However, I was disappointed with my veal entree. Although it was cooked perfectly to my liking and very tender, it lacked flavor. Given the higher price, I expected more. We rounded off the meal with a Nutella mousse, which was quite tasty.

The Philly Cheese Steak was tasty but LACKED Steak! Fries were crispy, plentiful but largely tasteless. Other luncheon samplings were very good but not great. Indoor seating was cramped and the noise level was loud despite visible signs of abatement.

Kid-friendliness: Go early with a well behaved kid, and they’ll be well taken cars of. There’s a kid’s menu with appropriately priced kids classics, and the staff dote on kids. Just go at the beginning of service, I’d say.
