Taqueria Bernardinos - Ridgecrest

The food was terrible. If I wanted microwaved meals, I would have just stayed home and reheated leftovers. However, the serving staff was friendly.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of fatty stuff. I have chronic pancreatitis, the only thing I could get was the low carb salad (green veggies, tomatoes, diced grilled chicken. Parking: Depends on the time of day, but usually good parking. Kid-friendliness: Friendly atmosphere, good selection on kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access at corners of plaza.

The service was decent and the food was okay, but I was disappointed that my burrito, which I paid full price for, was only the size of a kid's meal.

To be quite honest I've known these people for many many years. This is a family run dude with Mr Bernardino the start of it. And his daughters that were quite hard to take care of this restaurant the food and the atmosphere it's one of a kind. And the love from this family is felt in their food and their service. I might be a bit biased but I feel quite strongly about this family and I think they're great. And Mr Bernardino still runs the kitchen. The food from start to finish has always been great

The food and service is great! Never dined in but atmosphere has been pleasant when I pick up my food. This is the only place in town in which I know I don't have to check my order before leaving the restaurant. My wife must be cursed because her orders are always wrong, but Bernardinos always gets it right! Our go-to's are the macho burrito, carnitas plate, chilaquiles, enchiladas, and tostada.
