Description

Tucked in quaint Ridge Spring, Juniper offers a charming, art-filled atmosphere and a farm-forward Southern menu notable for corn chowder, club sandwiches, chicken and dumplings and a popular Sunday brunch. Service is often friendly and attentive, with homey touches like tea in mason jars. While many praise the unique flavors and local sourcing, consistency can falter — chowder seasoning, sandwich assembly and meal temperature have been uneven at times. Still, its warm vibe and creative cooking make it a worthwhile, drive-worthy stop for families and food lovers.

Wife and I, along with two grandsons and daughter had lunch last Saturday(7/25/2009). Wonderful service, with never ending tea, in Mason jars. The young boys aren't noted for enjoying soup, BUT, they devoured the corn chowder. Had to get a repeat order before the sandwich's arrived. Looking forward to another visit, for the corn chowder alone.

We absolutely love Juniper! We've never had anything we didn't enjoy. The food and the atmosphere are fantastic, whether you're looking for a nice dinner on the weekends, lunch during the week, or Sunday brunch. It's definitely worth the trip! You won't be disappointed. Here are a few favorites: corn chowder, club sandwich, Sunday brunch, chicken and dumplings, and Mediterranean salad!

We dined here on February 10, 2012. The service was decent, but when I inquired about the Sunday brunch, the waitress didn't provide much helpful information. The shrimp and grits should have been served much warmer, and I found the shrimp to be rather small. While the chowder was good, I'm unsure if I would make the drive to eat here again.

I love this place! The service is great, and it is much different than anything else you can eat throughout the CSRA. In the night we had eaten there, more than half of the menus of thirty miles of the Restauraunt came. They are a great addition to this beautiful small southern city, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and unique culinary experience.
