What Stu B likes about Tran Tran:
Favourite restaurant on Vic St! Foods always fantastic and fast, recommend the vietnamese salad and the combination fried rice. Staff always very welcoming and friendly. Very reasonably priced too. No issue with serivce or atmosphere, but food itself fail short. Fillings for San Choi Bao were smothered in an awfully sweet sauce. Rocking fillets tasted unfresh with some pieces tasted exceptionally tough (possibly double cooked? It was a memorable lunch for the wrong reason. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View all feedback.

Some diners enjoy the friendly service and delicious food, with recommendations for dishes like the spring rolls and sizzling Mongolian beef. Other guests, however, find the food to be hit or miss, with some items tasting subpar or lacking freshness. The atmosphere is generally pleasant, and the staff is attentive. Tran Tran is also noted for its affordable prices and wheelchair-friendly environment. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its strengths and weaknesses, making it a decent option for those looking for Vietnamese cuisine in the area.
I’ve been coming to Tran Tran for over 30 years. It’s my favourite restaurant in Richmond. The owners are lovely, and the food is excellent.<br/
