Great Museum District Restaurant. In the past year I have been to Zeus on several occasions. Whether it is for Easter brunch with the family, dinner out with friends or hosting vendors from work, the food and service have been outstanding The atmosphere is great with two dining rooms and the chalkboard menus. The wine list is excellent and the food superb. I recommend the fried oysters, arugula salad, meatloaf and ve... View all feedback.
What Lucious Luettgen doesn't like about Zeus Gallery Cafe:
Rude rude rude. Did I step in dog poo? That's how my husband and I were treated when we stepped inside. Under the previous owner, this was our go to spot for a relaxed well prepared meal. When the young blond hostess finally got around to acknowledging us it was obvious that things weren't off to a good start. Although there were tables available, we were told that they were going to be slammed in minutes. She reluct... View all feedback.
A great experience. I usually don't write cries, but that was such a bad experience that I have to warn others. Fatherday dinner, remembered that this was a nice radio location around corner from the museum where we went for a show. 100 grad day and they had no ice cream that worked waitress as if they were upset, we were there and it was hot as hades in the restaurant. service was absolutely pitiful. the people beside us were beyond p .O-d and loud all made of it. to the happiness that was eating ok, not stellar, but good. wow, all I can say is that I hope it is not so all the time, or they will not be much longer. I'm not going back. too many good restaurants in richmond!
Rude rude. did I jump into the dogepoo? so my man and I were treated when we came in. under the previous owner this was our way to find for a relaxed, well prepared meal. when the young blonde hostess finally came to recognize us, it was obvious that the dings were not a good start. Although it has 6 tables available, we were told that they are blown in 30 minutes. she made us hesitant. after 15 minutes without a glass water we went out and will never go back.
From this world. Last night I had the best dinner. everything was fantastic. the fried oyster applet was delicious. I would have ordered a second, but I would not want to fill in before my escape. I had the meat towel I've never ordered, but the description sounded as if it were right in a cold night. it was fantastic! hubby had the garnel and scallops I got to rehearse and they were just as fantastic. I can't believe that I lived in richmond my whole life and that was the first time I was there. but it won't be my last one! They'd better get used to seeing us, and next time we'll bring friends.
Great place better with new owners. the new property (Jan.2014) really rose to the plate, ha, and went the extra mile to ensure that we had the best experience possible. great eating, fantastic drinks and don't even think about going out of the desert!
Pretty tasty. The appetizer was really yummy. We had the dueling shrimp special. Also got the soft shell crab. The couscous was a little more cooked than I like mine. The sauce on the crab was AMAZING. I had the seared scallops the sauce on mine was way too vinegary Each chef has a homemade bread that they make. Ours was an Italian herb. Lots of flavor and very dense Awesome atmosphere and great location. Our waitress was one of the best I have had in a long time. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed dinner. I would go back for the waitress and the ambience. The food is okay for the price, but I expect exceptional when I pay...read more
