Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Richmond

My wife and I live a bit away and it still came very fast. They also took the time to identify both our orders that we appreciated because our orders were very similar, but my wife cannot have milk. The food was right and delicious. They knocked it out of the park, 5 stars!

Second time visit Tropical Smoothie Cafe and they met again a home run! This is now one of my favorite places to eat. I like how to order the food so you can get it hot and fresh. I had the mango magic smoothie and it was phenomenal! I had the super green caesar pack for dinner! If you don't have to eat here you have to pass and try it at any place!

I have never witnessed an employee (female employee) leaving the register for over 20 minutes unattended to help with the meal Prep. On this special day, 3 employees were for what I could see. Guests were not recognized so many people go. I finally decided to order online to place my order. I do not want to visit this place again on the basis of the professionalism of the staff. For others, the smoothie was great (from the male in the back that made the smoothies and came out to help in the front at one point) so please visit if you do not make the wait.

I try not to write bad reviews, but owners of this facility need to do some training. 5 employees are around speaking, while tons of people are always waiting for food drinks. Must go back and have them remake smoothie because it was ice and nuts pieces and not drinkable. Then we went in to make it new, it was done wrong, so they had to start the drink a third time. Saw two other customers also unhappy with service while spending almost 30 min trying to wrap a smoothie and breakfast. The worst tropical smoothie experience I've ever had.

C 'mon man! This Tropical Smoothie location used to be my go to lunch spot. Unfortunately the service has been terrible for months now. I order through the app, and on my last few visits my order was not ready on time... nor was it ready 10 minutes later... nor was I given any explanation as to when I might expect it. On each occasion I had to remind one of the staff about my order after walk-in customers came and went with their food. Today was the last straw, there were only 3 staff working at 4:30pm and no leader among them. Several customers were waiting for food and the staff seemed to be doing everything possible to avoid eye contact or verbal communication with us. Fifteen minutes after my pickup time my salad was out but not my smoothie. It turned out the cashier had overlooked or misplaced the smoothie order. For some reason they keep the smoothie orders with the cashier and put the food orders around the corner. This is not the first time this system has failed me. I had to leave my food (and unmade smoothie) and ask for a refund since I had places to be. If this post sounds hangry it 's because I am.
