Absolutely the best little spot very relaxed and friendly staff. They were all very tentatively checking on us and making sure we were taken care of. All of the food came out hot and fresh and delicious! Definitely going back next time we are here. View all feedback.
The food was life-changing. We got a chicken sandwich and the shrimp Po boy, both juicy and flavorful. The fries and hush puppies were steamy and delicious, the best we've ever had. The owner was very kind and helped us with things to do in Richmond. I would definitely recommend, and we will be coming back whenever we are in town.
The catfish po boy, fries, peach drink, sauce, and crab patties was all good!
Had a great time. Staff was very friendly and the owner came out to greet us as well. Food was hot, fresh, and wonderfully flavored. Located right on the pedestrian walkway in Shockhoe, too. We'll definitely be back!
If you want some tasty fried seafood, hit this place up! Got the crabcake sandwich and upgraded to the tipsy fries, good size flavorful crabcake on a brioche bun hit the spot and the fries were an extra delight. Girlfriend got the shrimp basket, the shrimp were nicely flavored, fried and minimally battered, very good! Frozen peach tea was a nice treat too ? The staff and owner were cool knowledgeable and pleasant. Swing by chill and get some good eats when you're in the mood to indulge in some fried goodness!
Food was delicious, ordered the lump crab cake sandwhich with the upgraded tipsy fries…highly recommend. Girlfriend had the sweet and spicy tipsy Po Boy…highly recommended as well. Sandwhich was a bit heavy but flavorful, sauce is delicious similar to garlic aioli. Sweet and spicy was more on the sweeter side not really spicy, forgot it was supposed to be spicy (I have a really low spicy tolerance). Shrimp is lightly fried and not greasy and fresh veggies. service was pretty good, the restaurant was dead being that we got there after the lunch window. Food came out within 10mins of ordering. Improvements: mac n cheese was advertised on a TV that looked delicious but was not on the menu. Overall I would recommend making the trip when in Richmond, but be prepared to get “The Itis” after eating so have a bed ready.
