This is an intriguing neighborhood bar with a diverse selection of beers and drinks. The gator bites are excellent. It's a pleasant surprise to find a Sazerac on the menu in Richmond. The food has a strong Cajun influence. I ordered the crab cake and jambalaya, but I found large pieces of uncooked celery in the dish. I would definitely return for the beer and drinks. The Cajun Kitchen was a letdown in terms of taste and flavor. After spending 18 years in Louisiana, I found my meal here to be very disappointing. I ordered the Muffuletta sandwich, and I can confidently say that no one in Louisiana would ever recognize it as a true Muffuletta! Great place to hang up and eating was from this world. will come back when I'm back in the Richmond area.
Nice place in the corner with only a hand full parking spaces. Staff was super friendly and head chef came out to speak to us and sample some cheese. Very quiet nice and just nice for two couples to chat and have dinner. I recommend the gator burger.
The staff is always friendly and amazing. The mozz sticks and sauce are really delicious, have not yet tried any other food (we go for the drinks; I really appreciate the terrace as I am still friendly to be inside with groups of people. Definitely a great place to step back after work and feel safe and comfortable.
Great bar, staff made me feel like a regular from day 1. LGBTQ safe space for sure as others have said.
Love their bathroom sign! Lovely staff and chef, food was okay but burgers were delicious! Try their gator burger. Delicious freshly made mozzarella cheese. Drinks were awesome too. Awesome atmosphere and easy to find place. Not many parking spaces due to it being in a corner.
