The Savory Grain - Richmond

I had a stuffed quail special this evening and it was excellent! The savory grain was spot on in terms of atmosphere and great tasting food!

Best chicken pot pie in RVA hands down.. so far. Each time I?ve seen a restaurant with chicken pot pie. I have to get it. It?s a classic favorite and it was amazing. Service was also great amazing. No one tells you this. But the meatloaf has a kick to it. It doesn?t take away from the flavor or anything. But it won?t burn your mouth either. The crème brûlée isn?t bad either. I definitely will return again.

Brunch with live music...what could go wrong? Absolutely nothing. The food was great. The staff was super personable and awesome. The mimosas...yeah, you got it. They were a champagne and OJ symphony. Only recommendation make a reservation because this restaurant is preferez for bon apetite.

Can?t believe it took us so long to try The Savory Grain and it was worth the wait. Bonus points for having a PT Carrol mural to enjoy. Burger was delish, the best ranch dressing (mmmm dill), perfectly cooked shrimp on the summer salad. Drink menu is on point. Thank you for having us!

Visited them from brunch and gotta say it was one of the best restaurants for just that! Their chicken and waffles are among the best I've had in Richmond. They also had live jazz music which added to the whole experience. Definitely want to come back again!
