This was my first time ever trying Afghan cuisine and I was surprised by how good the food was! The restaurant is very clean and the food is presented in a super creative way. The flavor for each menu item is very unique and delicious. The customer service was phenomenal and servers are very kind! I came here after reading about The Mantu in Eater. There is convenient and sufficient parking at this restaurant. It is important to be mindful that the pandemic has put a strain on the restaurant/hospitality workforce and reducing the host/waiter/bus boy/bartender to one person, so consider skipping the restaurant vibe and opt for takeout. Loved this restaurant! Our server, Cheryl, was amazing and very welcoming! We came to this restaurant just for a little something to eat, we got Potato Skins, Beef Mantu Dumplings, and Shurwa E Ghusht. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. I just wish that the Potato Skins weren?t just the skins and had a little bit of the potato on them. Enjoyed the food and will come again when in the area!
Read this before you go here! Hopefully we can spare some people the money. It's not high cuisine even though they pretend, and price the menu, to be. I ordered the Lamb Shank and it came out in 8 to 10 minutes. I've worked restaurants before and you can NOT cook something like that so quickly. That means the main dish was not cooked to order. If you've never tried Afghan food, you're missing out. This is only the 3rd Afghan restaurant I've dined at, but pleasantly surprised! Flavors were delicious, ambiance nice, music to reflect the cuisine, and good service. All GF and full of flavor....please give it a try! Four stars because of the water service all plastic and disappointed to see this. Mantu please change this!!!
