What Shad Mann doesn't like about Tarrants Cafe:
great atmosphere. food could have been a little better. had the risotto appetizer and krabbe louie salat. the risotto was great. a couple of hard pieces, but other wise fantastic. there had a great presentation, but less than a large iceberg salad, all that he cut ends were brown. the remaulade dressing was excellent compliment to the crab. Tarrant's is just one of those staple restaurants in the city that you have to love.
Total disappointment with our return visit last nightThe food was good, but that was outshined by the lazy, slow, unfriendly, inattentive service.

read moreTarrants offers great atmosphere and a wide variety of food options. While some diners found the food to be slightly lacking in certain aspects, such as presentation or texture, others raved about the delicious dishes, such as the risotto and crab Louie salad. The Thanksgiving dinner was a hit for most, with the highlight being the delectable seafood omelet and traditional family favorites. The menu is described as encyclopedic, especially focusing on seafood options like she crab soup, rockfish, and barramundi. The French-style restaurant offers excellent service and a charming dining room that adds character to the overall experience. The diverse dessert options, including a rich creme brûlée and chocolate special, are not to be missed. Overall, Tarrants is a cool place for lunch or dinner, providing a positive dining experience for many visitors.
