I made a to go order the other day and I felt some animosity towards my race. While the server was very kind with other guests, I, who am white, felt very uncomfortable and disrespected. My roommate (who is black) told me to try this place out and that they were really nice there. It was not nice. The food was amazing seriously but the atmosphere while I waited was not. Where do I start!!! The food was AMAZING the staff was very friendly. I ordered fried cats. Listen to me talking about my diet offered to grill it instead of fried!!! It was my cheating day, so I wanted to fried?. But I thought that would be very nice to let me know that this is an option for the future. I really enjoyed this place and really enjoyed my food! And they were really affordable
We came in Richmond, for a family trip and in the need of a good soul food; we found it too. Customer service was great and the food was fantastic. We'll be back next time. Thank you to the staff and management at Shrimps!
Great experience/vibe! I had a Great Dine In Experience! Food is great, I ordered the chicken wings with Mac Cheese with a side of yams and collards! 10/10
Popped in for lunch. Waited about 10 mins for a fresh Shrimp Po?boy. Light, flavorful and filling. Perfect little spot. Had a small bar so guessing evenings are busy. I rather liked the quietness of a late lunch. Would definitely be back
