Went to dinner on a Saturday night around 8 pm and were not disappointed in the least. When we arrived (party of 4), we were quickly seated and introduced to our server,which gave us time to look over drinks. After making our selections, we were given time to chat and catch up with each other.The small plates were great, myself. I had a pork belly with chimichurri, and the sauce was more amazing than the tasty pork.For the main, I had duck confit with pumpkin ravioli, which balanced so perfectly. The only hiccup came during this when atablemate was given the wrong dish. The server, when made aware of it, quickly corrected this error. The only real complaint wasthe close seating, and it was a little loud. Will 100% go back for a normal night!

But th... read more This is my favorite restaurant in Richmond. I come here on birthdays and special occasions. All the cocktails are great and the staff are all incredible. But the food is the star. All the regular menu items are great but the specials always somehow evenbetter. Would recommend to anyone and I do!

Bot... read more We had a fantastic first experience at this restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, particularly the homemade bread and the tasty ginger salad dressing. Both my blackened sea bass and my husband's burger were packed with flavor and accompanied by unique vegetable pairings. We were also very happy with the Derby Pie we ordered. The owner even came out of the kitchen to greet several customers, which was a nice touch. We can't wait to return!

Unf... read more The staff was friendly and attentive, but we had to wait almost an hour for our main course to arrive, even though we were the only table in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we received no updates about the delay. On the bright side, the food was excellent as always, but the long wait for our entrees was disappointing.

Later in the even... read more You can always expect a wonderful meal at Rowland. The music is pleasantly soft, allowing for easy conversation. The recipes are truly unique. Later in the evening, the owners often come out to greet guests and check how everything was. People living on the outskirts who overlook these urban dining gems are definitely missing out. The food here is absolutely fantastic.
