I'm visiting from out of town, and Richmond on Broad looked Ike a cool place to experience something local. Pastries, coffee, quiche,and biscuits and gravy were all on the menu. Although the prices and food were both good the rude employees are what will keep me from wanting to come back. Disappointed. I visit from the city and richmond on broad looked like a cool place to experience something local. baked, coffee, quiche and cookies and gravy were all on the menu. Although the prices and the food were both good, the rude ones are what prevents me from coming back the cashier was clearly upset that he didn't have to help me good tomorrow, no thanks. the same lack of the reaction came from the individual in the kitchen that I hope would be proud of what he prepares a lot of potential, but on this experience, they are not yet there.
This is a jewel near the heart of the city. Simple parking and a short walk from the large areas of the city. It's just a block west of the library on Broad Street. The staff is very friendly. I was greeted by three people when I arrived. The place is clean, the food is great! What else can anyone ask? I loved it and will definitely return. The food is unique and the atmosphere is fun!
The beet and orange salad has amazing taste! I also went back twice for vegetarian packaging (heated), which is sooo good!
Do not expect to find a place during the lunch break. I like that they always choose special hot items, in addition to many cold sandwich and salad options. Nothing I ordered has disappointed me, especially the soups. Prices are reasonable. Today I had a black bean burger w/ gouda (what I will order again),
An orientation in Richmond Marriott and lunch was on our own. She was looking for a place nearby and stumbled on Richmond at Broad Cafe. Your Turkey Pastrami Reuben and Vegetable Soup were great! I'm back! Great service, friendly atmosphere, excellent food.
