Red Lobster Richmond Eastern Bypass

Our party of four ordered appetizers and drinks, and the experience was a bit mixed. The waitress first brought us a basket of cookies, then took our food order. Shortly after, she brought another cookie. However, we had to wait about 20 minutes for our appetizers and another cookie to arrive. It took a full hour and ten minutes for our main courses to come out. I ordered the filet mignon and lobster, but it didn’t taste great, and my daughter also didn’t enjoy her dish. Unfortunately, my other daughter didn’t even receive her food at all. My wife had filled up on cookies by then. Normally, I wouldn’t complain, but it just felt off that night. The manager came out to apologize and kindly offered us a complimentary steak to make up for it. Hopefully, things will run more smoothly next time. Our waitress was very nice and really put in a lot of effort, which is why I’d consider returning.

When visiting this restaurant, you'll find a beautiful and comfortable setting that is also very clean. The waitstaff is incredibly helpful, and the food is excellent and served hot right when it arrives at your table.

The atmosphere was lovely, and I didn't have to wait at all. The service could use some additional training, but the food was good overall. It felt like a fair value for the experience.

The food and service here are consistently excellent whenever we visit. We're already looking forward to our next trip!

However, it took about 20 minutes for the appetizers to arrive, along with yet another basket of biscuits. Our main courses finally came after an hour and ten minutes wait. I had a lobster tail fillet, as did my daughter, but unfortunately, they were disappointing. My other daughter didn't receive her food until after we'd already started eating, and my wife felt too full from the endless biscuits to enjoy her meal. Normally, I wouldn’t complain, but this experience was frustrating. The manager did come to apologize and offered us a free steak off our bill, which was appreciated. I'm hopeful that next time they’ll have things running more smoothly. Our waitress was very nice and made a genuine effort, which is why I plan to return.
