GENEHMIGT. I'm an ole school cook of 20 plus years. I go to Treat Sandwich is Fried Bologna Sandwich or Biscuit with Egg.... They all get my 5 star vote....First of all Fries are on point. The Bologna sandwich? You have to add the egg. It was so excellent that I didn't even need the Mayo. Thanks for great sandwich pages Other picture is what I occasionally do for myself at work? I always have to have american cheese and/or cheese whiz on my cheesesteak but I tried it with provolone this time, which is how this place makes it. I didn't really care for the provolone but everything else was good. View all feedback.
I ordered the Darbytown Double Burger with a side of mac cheese ... It was everything the pictures and menu said! Highly recommend this restaurant. I can 't wait to go back and try the fish, shrimp, and fried chicken combo!
As for the food, the prices were reasonable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of the chicken sandwich that came with my entree. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Mrs. Helen, the owner, is doing an incredible job in the kitchen!
The food was so good And well packaged. It took 30 mins to arrive and it was still fresh!! I will order again.
Friday night at 9:30pm, I had a taste for some coconut pineapple cake with vanilla icing. After that craving fell through I had a taste from some cornbread. I decided I would treat myself to lunch the following day. Well lunch it was at Ms. Girlee's kitchen. Walked in, vibe was very welcoming. VERY CLEAN! Staff very courteous. I ended up getting my cornbread (and it was delicious) fish, yams (OMG) I couldn't leave without a side of shrimp and a couple of crabcakes. Sorry all, didn't think to take a picture maybe next time. My compliments to the chef and staff. You now have a new loyal customer!
This has become my new favorite spot. The food is outstanding, and the service is flawless. I truly feel like they have become family to me.
