This is simply the best sushi place I've visited in Richmond. The portion size was spectacular and the prices were excellent. I had the Jimmy Smith Roll and the Main St Roll. Both were delicious and I tried to decide what was better. My friend got the Bubba and the firefighter, and her opinion is that the crack and spices of the firefighter pushed it up. Waaaay better than Lucky AF in Scott's addition. I'll be back s... View all feedback.
What Swapna Y doesn't like about Miyabi Sushi:
There was street parking available and a parking lot a few blocks away. The staff was friendly and quick. They gave everyone soup which was really flavorful and ginger salad which was fine. We ordered chicken roll and shrimp tempura rolls. Both were good. Nice size and good flavor. I ordered the chicken katsu with the curry sauce on the side and it was really good. The other people at my table got various versions of... View all feedback.
The staff was nice and the interior decor was fun, but the food itself was just not good. For an appetizer we had the tempura basket and the coating was way too thick and just not tempura, it was closer to a heavy breading than a light batter. We had several rolls, all of which were really bland and didn't taste fresh. The sushi rice tasted like plain rice without any type of rice vinegar, the sashimi on top was mushy and flavorless, and the whole meal was just really disappointing.I had high hopes given the reviews and maybe we went on a bad night, but this is one of the only times I've gone to a restaurant and not finished the meal, it was just that bad.
Upon entering the restaurant, the property was clean and guest wasn’t standing outside. I was greeted immediately after entering the building. The atmosphere and vibe was very nice for a Saturday evening. My order was taken by the waitress several moments after I arrived. However, the waitress didn’t have great people skills at all. She was unruly when I asked about an item on the menu. I would return but I would not accept that particular waitress again.
Easily one of the best sushi places in Richmond. The environment inside was super cute.
So delicious! I'm new to Richmond and was trying to find a new sushi spot, and this is it! Has a lot of options and the lunch/dinner deals are amazing :
Best sushi I’ve had in Richmond so far. Not real busy for a late Saturday lunch. Service was mostly friendly but our waitress seemed slightly annoyed the whole time. Food was great! My favorite thing I got was the Coconut Shrimp Roll. Also tried the veggie tempura which was delicious, and the clear soup, which was the most not-clear clear soup I’ve ever had, but boy was it good! Only complaint was no fountain soda, cans only, but I can’t wait to come back!
