I absolutely love this place for Banh Mi! Spicy, Sweet, salty, vinegary, crunchy, soft. This sandwich has everything! The wonderfully crusty yet soft rolls are made in house, the ingredients could not be fresher, and the balance of flavors in the sandwich is perfect. Occasionally I'll get a boba smoothie oh, but I found them to be a little gritty in the past, but still good. The family who runs the place are friendly... View all feedback.
What Amy Miller doesn't like about Lebanese Bakery:
I don’t typically leave negative reviews but one was warranted here. We purchased two wraps and assortment of baklava. Not one item was worth the money we spent. The baklava was stale and tasted rancid. The flavor of my falafel wrap was awful. There was hardly any sauce and the falafel itself was dry. The whole meal was inedible. We felt misled by the reviews for this place. On top of it all, the staff was unfriendly... View all feedback.
We made our first visit on February 7 after hearing about the Lebanese Bakery just a few days earlier. 1) You are not going to find fresher pita in the Richmond or Charlottesville area than here. If you want more than 5 pitas you need to preorder. 2) The hummus and the mudardara were amazing!! 3) The moussaka was better the second day. 4) we thought the spinach fatayer and falafel were too dry. 5) the stuffed grape leaves and tabouleh were ok but not our favorites. 6) The customer service was excellent.
Ever since my first visit, I have been coming here whenever I am in the area. Had different people worked at the counter, but they all are very friendly and happy to assist you. Both Minced Beef and Onion Lahambajeen and Cheese Lahambajeen are very good. My daughter likes to put the two face-to-face and eat them together. Yum! Beef Shawarma was delicious.
I absolutely love Lebanese food and after years of not knowing this place existed, found a little piece of Heaven today. The food was outstanding! The service was exceptional. And I am hooked. We will be back.
Very authentic Lebanese restaurant, that they make everything fresh. I didn?t try their food, just went to get the desserts to go, their Baklava is amazing although only two pieces for$5.99 is a little pricy. I? also bought a pack of frozen sfiha, it doesn?t taste as good as the fresh baked one. Will come back to try their other food that?s fresh out of the oven
Absolutely amazing service, great tasting food at reasonable prices! The shawarma is the best, their homemade tabbouleh with fresh pita chips is worth going the extra mile to get here and I just love the grape leaves. End with baklava and the meal is perfect! We?ll definitely be back ????
