+PROS+ Copious, craveable choices, fast line short wait, AND the staff member who helped me, Katherine, was upbeat, patient had expert-level knowledge of the entire menu. +CONS+ Limited street parking a plethora panhandlers.
What User doesn't like about Kung Fu Tea:
Can someone please explain to me why I could not be serviced at 9:43pm today? When the store is supposed to close at 10pm? I understand they do pre cleaning to leave as soon as they close but seriously? not even 9:45pm and they couldn't make me a drink.. waste of time and gas for kids that want to make up their own closing times. ridiculous. Date of visit: July 26, 2019. This was my second visit to this restaurant. The only downside was the parking situation; we had to park a block away. Once we arrived, the ambiance was pleasant, and the air conditioning was just right. We got there at 12:20, which was only 20 minutes after opening, so there was no wait. The service was quick, with a wait time of just 4 minutes from ordering to picking up our food. They have restrooms available if you need a moment before indulging in their delicious offerings. I particularly enjoy the taro; I recommend requesting less ice and less sugar. I also tried the fig jelly for the first time, but I found it wasn't quite as good as the grass jelly or herbal jelly.
I had never tried Kung Fu Tea before, but I'm so glad we moved here so I can enjoy it more often. There are so many options, and I can't wait to try them all!
+PROS+ The restaurant offers an extensive selection of delicious options, and the wait was minimal due to the quick line. Katherine, the staff member who assisted me, was cheerful, patient, and had an impressive understanding of the entire menu. +CONS+ There is limited street parking available, and the presence of numerous panhandlers is noticeable.
They didnt have the kirby tea but they have this and its so good
I dont usually post a review but I got scared from what happened. So, we love kung fu tea and always get some when we go out. But last Saturday, when we were in Richmond, we got our taro slush here to drink on the road and wintermelon milk tea with pudding and boba when we get home. First, I found it odd that the pudding was almost half of the large cup but didnt mind. Right after I finish it though, I did not feel well and when I threw up I saw a pill with S in it. I did not eat nor drink anything other than the milk tea then so I was pretty sure I ingested it from the milk tea. Never going to get my boba teas from there.
