Jamaica House - Richmond

This is one of the best curry chicken dishes I've ever tasted. I initially visited for the chicken and dumpling soup, but I decided to try an entree as well... and my goodness, it was absolutely delicious!

The best Jamaican restaurants in the Town. Food was perfectly seasoned, tasted great with rice& peas, portion size was good, small can suffice a low-medium eater. Roti would be perfect for this food, but I couldn't find it in their menu.

I have been visiting this restaurant for years due to the consistently good quality of food. However, I recently noticed they started reducing the portion of my protein when I requested my meat to be served separately. This was never an issue before, so I called to see if they could resolve the problem. I explained that I’m seven months pregnant and very particular about my food, especially given the high prices. Unfortunately, they did nothing to address my concerns. As a result, I will no longer be dining here, which is disappointing because it used to be a favorite.

This is likely the best Jamaican restaurant I've ever visited. The food is clean, fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming—what more could you want? I’ll definitely be returning soon!

I get the curry chickpea bowl veggie patties, omg, it tastes amazing! I substitute my white rice with rice peas, I?m drooling writing this, lol. It comes with the rice, chickpeas, a salad (spinach tomatoes). Their home beverages are addictive. Want a to try a vegan dish definitely order this! I?ve also had the spinach patties mixed vegetable patties. Priced great! Picture does little Justice. Check out this black owned business it won?t disappoint! Peace, love
