Irie Vibes Jamaican Grill - Richmond

This place is definitely a hit or miss. They never have enough meat portions on your plate for the amount of money you pay but will give you so much rice ! Their hours are ALWAYS OFF. If you open at a certain time, you need to have food prepared especially around lunch hours !

Food is great and decently portioned. The price I paid was quite high however I don't hold them accountable for that due to inflation.

First time visiting this location. Stumbled across it leaving Short Pump. The j chicken was tender and had a good flavor. I enjoyed the plantains and sides as well.I am so tired of these franchises. Now, I have some place go to get a good meal.Update, tried the curry chicken. Although the taste was good, I had to chew carefully because of all of the little bones of chicken. When I eat, I just want to eat and not have to pick around my food. Also, I did not like the fatty skin on the chicken; the texture turned me off. Although curry chicken is one of my favorite dishes, I will definitely not be getting that dish again.

I recently went to Irie Vibes in Short Pump(first time at this location) to get lunch. I was a little disappointed seeing the prices and the lack of a lunch portioned menu, but I didn't let that stop me. If I was spending $20+ I was going all out. I got the 2 Meat dinner with Curry Goat and Oxtail for about $27. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. This plate was PACKED. Was enough food for two meals so it all equals out. I had some of the biggest oxtail portions I had ever seen. Goat was great and everything was perfectly cooked especially the rice and cabbage. I wish I had a picture for you all, but I was hungry . I will definitely be back next week. And recommending them to all of my current and former coworkers in the area.
