Number 54 extra spicy with white rice and I believe beef chowfun. This place is so good. Prices are decent. Flavorful and ok portion. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with the portion View all feedback.
What Mao N doesn't like about Huong Tra:
Not what's with all the high rates. The place is big and spacious but could use some updates. The food were not that great. I ordered shrimp papaya salad... with very few shrimps! Spicy chicken with white rice was mushy. The combination pho was terrible. View all feedback.
I ordered the dish numbered 6/3/77/46, and it was absolutely delicious! I can't emphasize enough how much I loved it—I'm seriously tempted to move in and eat this food all day. It was so good that I felt like going into the kitchen and giving all the chefs a kiss!
The Bahn Mi sandwich is very delicious. Parking is available, and the area is clean. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible.
Pho is truly defined by its broth, and this restaurant does it exceptionally well. You can really taste the depth of flavor from a variety of bones and spices like star anise, and the broth has a lovely, rich fat content. As someone who prides themselves on having a discerning palate for pho, I can confidently say this is the best I've had in El Cerrito. The portion sizes are also quite generous. I highly recommend trying the large combination beef noodle bowl (PHỞ XE LỮA).
Second time ordering their spicy beef and their food is too salty so I won't order anymore
Love their pho! Rice noodle isn't soggy, broth is fatty and flavorful, tons of meat. Bun bo hue is not to be missed! ?
