I really love the chicken gizzards as they are so tender but please cut back on the salt in the batter … remember us with the hbp that shouldn’t have them in the first place. View all feedback.
What Susan Tellier doesn't like about Deans Bbq And Grill:
I finally tried this place. I'm super disappointed. Chicken wingdings are fried to perfection, but they are TOO salty. I love salt but its too much. Mac n cheese is the worst I have EVER had. Wow! An Overcooked, mushy mess. And barely warm. The service was great, friendly and prompt. Definitely not worth $13 for this meal I can not eat. View all feedback.
I must say the food is delicious here. Philly steak cheese, wing dings, and the strawberry crunch cake are some good ones. Other Half got a chicken sandwich and loved it. Definitely coming back.
Chicken sandwich is awesome and the nuggets are better than fast food nuggets. Those are the only things I'd buy again from here. Mac and cheese is bad, like average or less tasting and it's not even elbow pasta, weird. Apple cobbler is over seasoned with cinnamon and peach cobbler is over seasoned with nutmeg. I don't even have anything good to say about the drinks here, the coke didn't taste like coke and the limenade was super bitter. Still the chicken sandwich was so bomb, I would never forget it, like best chicken I've ever tasted.
BBQ chicken sandwich is really good. For some reason they don't post prices on the menu in the store. It has black tape on it so you don't know how much food costs unless you ask them.

TL;DR: Just go here and at least try the Brisket Chopped and Brisket Sliced sandwiches. I have been here 3 times now and honestly, I absolutely love this place. Firstly, this is the first time I've ever had proper halal/kosher BBQ, and it's awesome! The first time I went here, my friend and I ordered like 14 items off the menu. By now, I've had almost everything from the menu with a few exceptions. The Brisket Chopped and Brisket Sliced sandwiches are my favorite items on the menu. If it's your first time, they give free samples of the Brisket chopped. The BBQ Chicken sandwich is probably the only thing I don't care too much for. The cheeseburger, which is two smashed patties, is very good and flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich, when asked to make it like Chick Fil A (you have to specifically ask for this), easily the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The bologna sandwich is very unique and definitely worth trying (mine came with mustard and onions, and was surprisingly a very good combo). The philly cheese steak is VERY good, but it comes with a massive amount of sweet peppers; I think I'll get it without the sweet peppers next time. I even had the meat loaf, and it was pretty decent. For sides, I've had potato salad, mashed potatoes, fries, fried corn dogs, and mac n cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed all sides, but the fried corn dogs were particularly very good. The fries are seasoned well, but we're soggy by the time I had it; however, that's more of a packaging issue. As for desserts, I've yet to have the ice creams, but I've already had the cookies, apple cobbler, peach cobbler, and the rice pudding. I really liked the cobblers a lot, cookies were pretty good too, but rice pudding was not that great. Lastly, they have their own in-house limeades. I've had the regular, cherry, and the regular mixed with Sprite, and I've enjoyed all 3 a lot. Definitely worth a shot.
