What Patrick Todd likes about Dairy Bar:
A great history of Richmond that is well hidden from main drag. Absolutely worth the visit. Food is some of the best around, then the shakes. Yes, the shakes. The only place I can think of that may give The Diary Bar a run for their money is Johnny Rockets. This is a must for anyone, RVA native or someone passing through. Plus the staff is quite welcoming friendly. Very knowledgeable as well. Go there. You won't be d... View all feedback. What Тимофій Сергієнко doesn't like about Dairy Bar:
not fresh. my man and I went there last week, we both got omelets, the southern living apparently recommended. not sure what was going on with it, because these were lower quality omeletts than I would have made home. all very tasteful and looked like prepacked eating. on the omelets were two discs of American cheese slightly melted, which is coarse because the American cheese is coarse to me. as far as the meat is c... read moreA recent review of a restaurant found that the omelets were subpar, with pre-packaged ingredients and questionable freshness. Despite being recommended by Southern Living, the decor was criticized as hokey, the tables sticky, and the location odd. However, other reviewers praised the history of the establishment, the delicious food, especially the shakes, and the friendly staff. Some found the service incredibly fast, while others appreciated the cozy environment for breakfast or lunch. Overall, the restaurant was considered good for a quick meal, comfort food, and traditional diner fare, with some customers planning to return for another visit.
